West is Best – West Coast
The rugged west coast has much to offer the visitor. We depart from Cape Town and head north toward Blouberg, with its white beaches and stunning views of Table Mountain. Continuing up the coast past Yzerfontein, we arrive at the West Coast National Park and the Langebaan lagoon. This area is a favorite for bird and flower enthusiasts.
From Langebaan we continue north to the fishing village of Paternoster. The well-kept lighthouse at Cape Columbine is a worthy visit followed by a rustic seafood

lunch. After our meal we travel inland, either to the West coast fossil park, where one can view a fossil dig in progress, or to the Ostrich farm, to see and even ride these huge birds. As the afternoon draws to close, we drive back to Cape Town.
