Botanical Bliss – Cape Town

If you really want to see the Cape Peninsula, you need to be on your hands and knees: a lot of our famous Fynbos occurs as small scrub like bushes which need a second look to appreciate the beauty, unless you are here in spring when the masses of small blooms create a carpet of colour across the countryside.

This one’s a different tour, discovering the treasure of international botany, totally unique and potentially confusing. We will never profess to being experts in this field, as it is too large and diverse,
  Botanical Bliss
but our guides for this tour are all well-experienced gardeners and we will give you an excellent insight into this fascinating aspect of Cape Town.

Our full day Botanical tour varies with the seasons and our guests' specific interests, but a typical tour will usually consist of a visit to Kirstenbosch – our National Botanical garden, situated on the slopes of Table Mountain or the Harold Porter Gardens in Bettys Bay, followed by a tour of an indigenous plant nursery, or a visit to a private garden. Each tour is tailor-made and completely flexible.
